To this end, please pay attention to Point 2.10. of these instructions for use! 2.3 Application areas, use according to the intended purpose floyd. seat pan sub-frame is a medical product of risk class 1 and designed to accommodate seat pan systems and seat pans for larger users with higher weight or a higher degree of activity.
• Do not use with defective, worn or missing parts. • Use only accessories and spare parts made by Schuchmann, otherwise you will compromise the safety of the user. • Only use the seat pan sub-frame if all components have been correctly mounted and adjusted.

2. Product description. 2.8 General settings floyd. To correctly us the seat pan sub-frame, it must be adjusted correctly. Some important points are as follows: • With the seat angled more, the rear wheels should be moved back – and moved forwards with a slight tilt.
Please ensure that none of the user's extremities are in the respective area when making adjustments of any kind to minimise the risk of injury. 3.1 Seat tilt floyd. The seat of the can be ad- justed by 30° in the basic setting using gas pressure springs.
3. Settings. 3.3 Back angle adjustment with central quick adjustment The back can be adjusted via the central fast adjustment at an angle of 90° to 120° to the seat frame. For versions with a gas pressure spring, the adjustment is made by pressing the lever on the gas pressure spring (A) and by releasing the clamp lever (B) for the mechanical version.
3. Settings. 3.4 Seat height adjustment The height of the seat adapter can be adjusted by loosening both screws (A) on the horizontal tubes. Max. height adjustment 8 cm! The height of the gas pressure spring or the two gas pressure springs for versions with double gas pressure springs must then be adjusted.

If this no longer the case due to changes to the rear or front wheels, the front wheels can be read- justed by turning the two eccentric nuts (C) on the front wheel adapters.
5. Accessories. 5.1 Tilting device Using the tilting device, the accompanying person can tilt the chassis easier, e.g. to drive over a kerb. The tilting device is mounted in the rear, lower frame tube. 5.2 Swing-away anti-tip mechanism The swing-away anti-tip mechanism prevents the chassis from tipping back.
5. Accessories. 5.4 Footrests floyd. There are different footrest variants for which are fixed to the seat frame at the base plate for external adapters. After in- serting the knee angle in the footboard ad- apters (A) under the base plate and setting the depth, the footrest is tightened with the two wing screws (B).
6. Adapter systems. floyd. is prepared to accommodate a seat unit or seat pan. The seat ad- apter represents the connection point. 6.1 Seat pan adapter, standard 1. Insert the adapter into the rear tube of the seat pan support.
6. Adapter systems. 6.3 Seat plate assembly Transfer the hole pattern of the trape- zoidal adapter onto the seal pan body and mount the seat plate with four M6 countersunk screws (strength class 8.8) onto the trapezoidal adapter. Please use M6 self-locking nuts (min. strength class 8) to fasten.
7. Cleaning and servicing. 7.1 Cleaning and disinfecting 7.1.1 Cleaning 7190045 Please clean all frame elements regularly with a spon- ge or damp cloth; making sure that water droplets are removed. Please clean with a mild household deter- gent for severer dirt. Thorough drying of the cleaned areas is important.

7. Cleaning and maintaining. 7.4 Spare parts Use only original accessories and original spare parts from Schuchmann, as otherwise the safety of the user is endangered and the warranty ex- pires. Should you wish to order spare parts, please contact the specialist dealer who supplied you with the product, stating the serial number of the therapy chair (see Point 10.5).
9. Guarantee. The two-year statutory guarantee period shall apply for all products. This begins with the delivery or handover of the goods. Should a verifiable ma- terial or manufacturing fault occur within this time period, we shall, after carriage paid return to us, view the indicated damage and, if applicable, either repair or deliver a new product at our discretion.
