2. FLOOR INSTALLATION

NOTE: the weighing module must be connected to a dedicated weight indicator through the cable proceeding
from the junction box, following the indicator's instructions.
The electronic instruments connected to the platforms cannot be calibrated before being supplied.
The customer will be responsible for the instrument's preparation and calibration.
To obtain detailed information see the instrument's technical-operative handbook.
If the platform is comprised with the instrument
and the calibration service, there's no need to calibrate it.

2.1 PACKAGE OPENING

a) open the package.
b) check if there are any damages due to the transport, and verify that inside there are:
1 base, 4 adjustable pins, 1 junction box
(inside the
base), 1 connection cable and 1 installation handbook.

2.2 INSTALLATION AND CONNECTION

RESPECT AND PUT INTO OPERATION THE WARNINGS AT PG. 2.
When positioning the platform on the floor, refer to pic.3.
Follow this procedure when positioning the platform:
a) while lifting the platform on its side, screw completely the pins (1) on the cells (2). NEVER SCREW BOLTS
(3).
b) level the platform acting on the screw pins (1) until the spirit level (6, included in the homologated model)
reaches its centre. The platform's stability holds a great importance.
All the angles MUST LEAN UNIFORMLY. Make sure accurately that all the pins offer resistance to the soil and
that the platform, burdened on its angle, is not unsteady (if an angle does not lean against its relative pin, it's
easier to turn).
c) the calibration,
if
necessary, should be carried out 15 minutes after the instrument has been switched on.
d) carry out the electronic instrument's calibration as indicated on the technical handbook of the instrument
itself.
e) check the platform's angles (see INSTRUCTIONS FOR PLATFORM EQUALIZATION, paragraph 7), placing
on them (one by one) a sample whose weight is approximately
of the instrument's maximum capacity, and
make sure that the error does not exceeds +/- 2 divisions; otherwise contact the seller.
f) check the zero and the full scale by using a sample weight.
