    Input Delay: This is the longest time that the i-Drive system will wait for additional taps after the first tap is detected. It may be set manually or calibrated using the Calibrate option in the i-Drive Configuration applications.

    Design & Function Intended Use The i-Drive control system allows the use of alternative input devices to drive an electric wheelchair. Up to six input devices such as an egg switch, proximity pads, Sip & Puff, head array, and tray array are supported. The i-Drive system relies primarily on two types of input interpretations: switched and proportional.

    Software Configuration Chair Calibration Selecting 'Chair Calibration' allows a user to calibrate the chair with the i-Drive, leveling both to the same neutral position. To get the best performance from the i-Drive interface, it is important to calibrate the interface to the wheelchair electronics.

    If one, or both, of the input channels are assigned to Proportional Forward/ Reverse and/or Proportional Left/Right, then the joystick must be calibrated to send the proper motion signals to the wheelchair.
