Odometer
The odometer registers the total
distance that the motorcycle has
been ridden.
ranges from 0 to 999999.
NOTE: The odometer display
locks at 999999 when the total
distance exceeds 999999.
Trip meter
The 2 trip meters are resettable
odometers. They can register 2
kinds of distances at the same
time. For instance, trip meter 1
can register the trip distance and
trip meter 2 can register the dis-
tance between fuel stops.
To reset a trip meter to zero, push
the ADJ button 1 or METER
or METER for 2 seconds while
the display indicates the trip
meter, 1 or 2, you want to reset.
NOTE: When the trip meter
exceeds 9999.9, the trip meter will
return to 0.0 and start counting
again.
NOTE: The trip meter will be reset
to zero when the battery is
removed or battery is discharged.
The odometer
Reserve trip meter
The reserve trip meter counts dis-
tance from fuel tank reserve point
until the fuel tank is refilled. The
fuel level indicator starts blinking
and the reserve trip meter starts
counting when the fuel level
reaches the reserve point. The
trip meter will be reset to zero
automatically when the fuel tank
is refilled over halfway and the
motorcycle starts moving. The
reserve trip meter can be reset
manually by pushing the ADJ but-
ton 1 or METER
for more than 5 seconds with fuel
tank filled over halfway.

Changing the display while
riding can
Removing a hand from the han-
dlebars can reduce your ability
to control the motorcycle.
Never change the display while
riding. Keep both hands on the
handlebars.
