3. Place an accessory service
stand or an equivalent stand
under the swingarm to lift the
rear wheel slightly off the
ground.
NOTICE
Improper jacking may cause
damage to the oil filter.
Do not place the jack under the
oil filter when jacking up the
motorcycle.
4. Loosen the right and left lock
nuts 2. Turn the right and left
chain adjuster bolts 3 clock-
wise.
5. Draw out the axle shaft.
6. With the wheel moved forward,
remove the chain from the
sprocket.
7. Remove the rear brake caliper
assembly 4.
