With the therapy in progress (i.e. device on with
scrolling blue LED), if you insert the power unit to
recharge the batteries, the treatment is interrupted,
the blue LED switch off and they begin to flash to-
gether in green for the normal recharging mode. In
this phase, the "ON/OFF" button ("A") is disabled.
If during the recharging phase, the power unit is
removed from output "D", the device switches off.
You will have to press the key "ON/OFF" to start a
new treatment.
The batteries have a power reserve of at least 24
hours at full charge (in other words, with the conti-
nuous use of the accessories).
HOW TO BEST USE NOCTURNO®
The applications are preset to last 6 hours, usually at
night, once a day, and for an overall variable length
between 45 and 60 days.
This device, unlike our other Medical Devices, is
supplied with a single program, which covers the
entire range of useful frequencies.
The treatment periods can be periodically repeated
(approximately 3 times a year) with an interval of at
least 20/30 days, in order to optimize the therapeutic
results.
You should always bear well in mind all the parame-
ters that concur to optimizing the therapy: a check on
the "receptivity" of the user toward the therapy and
the observance of the precautionary norms.
The therapy with electromagnetic fields emitted by
NOCTURNO® has a high therapeutic effectiveness
and does not entail contraindications, except for per-
sons with pace-makers, pregnant women, and in very
severe cardiologic/neurological cases.

At the present state of knowledge, no relevant side
effects have been detected.
It is nonetheless correct to specify that the way pa-
tients respond to the therapy is subjective, both in
terms of results and in the time they take to improve/
heal, which depend, in addition to the actual patholo-
gies they are affected by, also on the way they interact
with other physical or pharmaceutical treatments, on
the psychological-physical condition of the user, on
individual sensitivity to the therapy, on the outside
environment, and on the proper use of the device
and its accessories.
In view of these considerations, it is possible that
not all the patients respond in the same way to the
treatments, and certain general precautions must
be held in account:
Sleepiness may occur during treatments
with magnetotherapy.
At first, it is possible to encounter (especially
in more complex pathologies, acute or chronic,
e.g. arthritis, osteoporosis, etc.) periods of impro-
vement that alternate with the intervals of "stag-
nation" or of slight worsening of the symptoms:
continue with the therapy, because over time the
organism will assimilate the benefits of the elec-
tromagnetic fields;
It is normal that, in inflammatory or post-trau-
matic pathologies (tendinitis, cervicalgia, arthrosis,
sprains, neuralgia, etc.) the painful sensation felt by
the patient may at first increase;
In extremely rare cases, the onset of a slight
condition of hyperactivity, of insomnia, and/or of
itching is possible (e.g. with psoriasis and with neu-
ralgia), especially in patients who prove particularly
sensitive to the treatment.

In these last two cases, it is advisable to temporarily
suspend the treatments (a few days give or take), to
then gradually resume the therapy.
bar code (see page 46); and the accessories too
(wires for textile accessories, power unit, manual,
etc.), as also its inner parts (circuit, etc.), are identi-
fied by a label with serial number and bar code.
There is a univocal association between the SN of
the Medical Device and the bar codes of all the par-
ts it comprises.
For this reason, the accessories must "follow" the
equipment to which they are associated.
In the following part of the Manual ("APPLICA-
TIONS" section):
a. Certain pathologies that are treatable with
this device are summarized and listed, with
the recommendable relative accessories;
b. All the information and the drawings reported
below must be understood as indications,
suggestions for the therapy: they do not
replace, nor contrast, any possible instructions
received by specialized medical/health staff.
The equipment is marked with
the Serial Number (SN) and its relative
