5 Start-up and operation

5.1 OPV adjustment

The OPV is fixed to the standard sieve with an overlying white plastic board whereof 50%
can be opened, so it is still possible to fill
It is important that the arm with the float can
ter flow when the water level rises. Please check this and eventually assure this by checking
that the screw, see Figure 13, is not tightened too hard.
If the screw is too tight, the arm with the float cannot move freely, which results in that it
might stay in the "open" position although water level is rising even above the float, resulting
in an unwanted overflow of
In case you receive the OPV separately and have to exchange the sieve by the OPV, please
note the following: Due to transportation reasons, the arm with the float might be in a position
as can be seen from Figure 14. Before mounting the OPV, please rotate the float arm so it is
vertical below the sieve. To do so, loosen the screw (red arrow in Figure 14). After adjusting,
please
tighten again this screw!
Finally the OPV should look like can be seen in Figure 15.
