Operating Instructions Thermocouple & DC Voltage Output Press and hold the Power button to turn the meter on. Press the Output button. The Output icon will appear on the LCD. Press the Type button to select the type of thermocouple probe or the range of voltage (mV).
Automatic Temperature Compensation Press and hold the Power button to turn the meter on. Press the Input button. The Input icon will appear on the LCD. Open the rear bracket and do not touch it while initiating the temperature compensation. Press the Type and Input buttons at the same time, the LCD will display CEC 1, which indicates automatic temperature compensation of the opened cool end.
Battery Replacement To view the current battery voltage press the Power and Input buttons. The voltage of the battery will appear on the LCD. If the voltage is below 5.6V the low battery icon will appear indicating you will need to change the batteries.
