Caution - hot engine parts!
When the engine is running and immediately af-
ter it has stopped, there is a risk of burning on
the exhaust and other engine parts. Keep chil-
dren and pets away from the running engine.
Height adjustment for the brushes (fig. 17)

with the help of the sweep height adjustment crank
(13) located above the brushes. See fig. 17
1. Loosen the knurled knob (13a).
2. Turn the sweep height adjustment crank (13)
up or down until the desired position has been
reached.
3. Tighten the knurled knob (13a) to lock the crank.
Attention! If the brushes are set too low this can
overload the drive system and cause increased
wear.

cause significant transmission damage!
Brush speed control (17) (fig. 1, 15)
Press the handle forwards to increase the speed of
the brushes. If the handle is pulled back, the speed
reduces. Actuate the locking button on the handle to
be able to pull the handle back.

justs the engine speed.
Changing the brush angle (fig. 18)
The brushes can be turned by 25 degrees to either
side, i.e. 12.5 degrees per notch to the front or rear,
starting from the middle position. The swivel rod (4)
must be lifted, the brushes turned and then the rod
released again so that the lock latches into place.
Charging the battery (fig. 19, 20)
Before you can use the electric start function, the
battery must be charged for 5 hours! To do so, open
the cover (fig. 19-20) located on the right bottom side
of the machine. Plug in the charger and insert the
charge plug (fig. 4).

10. Maintenance

A proper maintenance and lubrication will help the
machine in a perfect working condition.
Preventive maintenance
Turn off engine and disengage all command levers.
Engine must be cool. Disconnect the spark plug cap
from the spark plug.
Inspect the general condition of the unit. Check for
loose screws, misalignment or binding of moving
parts, cracked or broken parts, and any other condi-
tion that may affect its safe operation.
Remove all debris and other materials that may have
accumulated to the brush. Clean after each use.
Then use a premium quality lightweight machine oil
to lubricate all moving parts.
m Never use a "pressure washer" to clean your
unit. Water can penetrate tight areas of the ma-
chine and its transmission case and cause dam-
age to spindles, gears, bearings, or the engine.
The use of pressure washers will result in short-
ened life and reduce serviceability.
Adjusting levers
As levers get worn, it could have a wider opening,
being so uneasy to use. This means that it is neces-
sary to adjust the cables, set levers on their original
positions and tighten up.
