5.3.4 Installing the Main Bearing

Install the main bearings onto the crankshaft.
Reinstall the connecting rods as per 5.3.3

and check that the ends of the crankshaft
and bearings are grease free.
Reinstall the main bearing seals.

Install the main bearings into the bearing

carriers. Secure using the outer retainer
ring.
