5.1.3 Removing the Fluid Modules

The fluid cylinder of the MP-16 pump is composed of six separate modules, each of which
may be removed and maintained separately from the others.
Remove the Suction and Discharge

manifolds as 5.1.2 and 5.1.1 respectively.
Remove the liners and wear plates as per

4.6.1 and 4.6.2 respectively.
Each discharge module is a
weighty piece of equipment
and can cause serious
WARNING injury if dropped. Be sure
the module is properly
supported before removing
the cap screws.
Unbolt the suction modules from the fluid

end. If only one discharge module is to be
accessed, then only the suction module
bolted to it must be removed to remove the
discharge module.
