OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1) On/Off switch
Switching on: press the trigger switch (2)
For continuous operation: press the trigger switch (2), then press the lock on
button (1). (Do not hold the lock button down)
Switching off: Fully press and then release the trigger switch (2). (fig.3)
WARNING
If the "Lock-On" button (1) is continuously being depressed, the trigger (2)
cannot be released.
2) Adjusting the cutting speed:
Your tool is equipped with a variable speed dial (9).
The blade stroke rate can be pre-set before cutting or adjusted during the cutting
operation by turning the speed adjustment dial to any one of the six available
settings.
Variable speed settings (stroke rate):
1-2. Low speed
3-4. Medium speed
5. Medium to High speed
6. High speed
3) Control Lever
Orbital Action mode:
The orbital action adjustment lever (Fig. 4) is used to adjust the orbital action from
"Smooth" position for normal up and down motion to maximum orbital action for
faster cutting in softer materials.
To increase orbital action, turn the lever to a higher setting.
To decrease the orbital action, turn lever to a lower setting.
When minimal splintering is desired we recommend using the "Smooth" position.
0. Smooth: soft metals, most materials
1. Low / med: metal, plastic, hardwoods
2&3. Fast: softwoods, plywood
4) Laser Guide (see fig.5)
Only turn on the laser light when the tool is on the workpiece.
1. First mark the line of cut on your workpiece (good side down).
2. Press the laser light button.
3. Use the laser beam to follow your cut line.
