OPERATING PROCEDURES

Your roofi ng coil nailer is fully assembled when you receive it. See the
recommended air system setup below.
Be sure that the couplers are set up so that the air hose is depressurized when
adding or removing components from the system.

z The 5726020 nailer is designed to operate on clean, dry, compressed air,
regulated at 70-120 PSI. The preferred system would include a fi lter, a pressure
regulator, and an automatic oiler located as close to the tool as possible. Within
15 feet (5 m) is ideal.
z All compressed air contains moisture and other contaminants that can harm the
internal components of the tool. An air line fi lter will remove most of these and
signifi cantly increase the life of the tool. If an in-line oiler is not available, place 5
or 6 drops of oil into the tool's air inlet at the beginning of each workday.
