IEVO-M micro™ Fingerprint Reader 5] INSTALLATION GUIDANCE The micro™ reader is suitable for internal use only. The micro reader can be either flush or surface mounted. Ensure you use the correct fixings and plugs for the type of wall for which you are fixing the reader. Incorrect usage can result in the Micro reader being unsecure. -

IEVO-M micro™ Fingerprint Reader READER HEAD CABLING Each micro reader uses a bespoke PoE (Power over Ethernet) connection to the ievo Control Board, carrying both power and data. Therefore, you must use a high-quality shielded Ethernet cable to prevent power and data loss. Each reader comes provided with a 5m CAT6 SFTP (braid-shielded cable, foil-shielded pairs) Ethernet cable. -

IEVO-M micro™ Fingerprint Reader 8] SURFACE MOUNT INSTALLATION STEP 1: Use the wall plate to mark out the size of the hole required for the Micro reader cable. Alternatively, you can push out the plastic notch at the top of the wall plate and feed the ethernet cable through the hole so that it can be hidden within conduit above the reader. -

IEVO-M micro™ Fingerprint Reader STEP 4: STEP 5: Tilt the micro reader head back and clip Push the Micro reader firmly until the the top security clip onto the backplate, security clips click into place. once attached, push the rest of reader onto the back plate. -

IEVO-M micro™ Fingerprint Reader 10] PRODUCT DISPOSAL When the product reaches the end of its useful life, it must not be disposed of in normal waste. The product must be disposed of at an authorised recycling plant.
