Turn On

Press the power button on the right-hand side of the unit. You will hear the welcome
message 'Sensear, Sounds Good To Me' The green light on the right-hand side of the unit
will begin to flash slowly. You are in SENS Mode – Speech Enhancement Noise
SM1P / SM1P IS

Turn Off

Press and hold the power button on the right-hand side of the unit. You will hear the shut
down tones.

Adjusting The Volume

Press the plus (+) or minus (-) sign button on the right-hand side of the unit. For the
highest volume continue to press the plus (+) button until you hear a double beep. The
unit limits ear noise exposure to 82dB(A)

Switching Modes

To switch between SENS and passive or quiet mode press the power button once you
have turned on the unit. The green light on the right-hand side of the unit will flash
intermittently in SENS mode and quickly in passive or quiet mode. In quiet mode SENS
audio will be muted.

Two-way Radio Instructions

For wired headsets turn the unit on. Connect the 2-way radio by using the cable provided
and turn the radio on. Push to talk functionality can be used by pressing the push to talk
button on the supplied radio cable.
