o How to get in/out of Short Range mode
• With headset on, Short Press Volume (+) and (–) together (simultaneously). You will hear
"short range on" and the frequency will be announced.
• Short press (+ and –) again will take out of Short Range (SR) mode.
• When you power on headset you will hear "Sensear sounds good to me, Short range FM on
101.3" (or some other frequency). This states the current frequency the headset is tuned to.
• Short Range Coverage will depend on environment ~ 30-50 feet coverage. (Not intended to
replace 2way radio)
o How to change between the 8 preprogrammed Short Range channel/frequencies
Note# Each headset comes preprogrammed from the factory with 8
channels/frequencies. Each of these channels are programmed with a different frequency. Its easy to
scroll between the 8 frequencies and its highly possible you will find a channel/frequency that will
work in your area. To change between all 8 frequencies simply power on the headset normally.
• Press and hold the (+) volume button for about 5 seconds. listen to the announcement in
the headset and it will announce that it has switched to the next preprogrammed frequency
in the headset.
• Release the + volume button and you will remain on that frequency.
• Press and hold the + volume button again and it will change to the next highest frequency in
the list.
• Keep doing this process until you find a frequency that does not have radio traffic on it. This
method will allow you to scroll to all the frequencies and back to the original one. You can
use this method to find different frequencies for different groups.
