8.1.3 Setting the atmospheric pressure
Method:
1. In the 'CALIBRATION' menu, go to 'CALIBRATION-PRESSURE' (the set atmospheric
pressure will now be displayed on the LCD screen).
2. Press 'START' and use the arrow buttons to set the actual atmospheric pressure (the
actual atmospheric pressure can be read from a barometer or you may also contact an
airport or meteorological institute).
3. Press 'START' and first set the whole number and then the decimal places (confirm
each number by pressing 'START').
8.1.4 Setting the low pressure
The software automatically switches to the calibration of the low pressure once the atmospheric
pressure has been set. Make sure the pressure sensor is completely without pressure.
Method:
1. Remove the sealing rubber (pos. 36) from the needle (pos. 35).
2. Disconnect all the hoses.
3. Fully open the needle valve.
4. Confirm the calibration by pressing 'START' twice.
8.1.5 Setting the high pressure
The software automatically switches to the calibration of the high pressure once the low
pressure has been set.
Method:
1. Connect an external air supply to the needle (use a hose with an internal diameter of 6
mm which has a precision pressure gauge connected to the other side).
2. Close the needle valve (pos. 13).
3. Use the external pressure supply to bring the system to an exact pressure of 2.00 bar or
29.0 psi.
4. Press 'START' and adjust the calibration pressure by using the arrow buttons to alter
the value.
5. Confirm each figure by pressing 'START' (the calibration has then been completed).

If the set value is correct, then the '','' buttons can be used to
move to the next parameter. If one calibration parameter is altered,
then all the other parameters must be checked and re-input.
Calibration of the high pressure can also take place at 3 or 4 bar
(see appendix II, table 3).
