7. TROuBLEShOOTING

The appliance does not heat up.
The appliance heats
continuously.
The room stays cold.
The appliance does not cool
down.
The appliance does not
respond correctly to orders
received from the Pilot Wire
control unit.
The appliance keeps on
heating despite the window is
open and the "Open Window"
function is active.
The appliance does not resume
heating after the window is
closed and the "Open Window"
function is active.
The display shows "ALL".
• Check if the radiator is correctly connected to the mains power grid and powered.
• Check the position of the mains switch of the installation.
• Increase the temperature set point on the appliance regulator.
• The heating element requires a few minutes for the appliance to become hot. Wait the
necessary time.
• The safety device has tripped. Eliminate the cause of overheating
(for example, obstructions or covering).
• Disconnect the appliance from the household mains for a few minutes to reset the electronic
system.
• If it still does not heat up, contact your local dealer or a qualified professional.
• Reduce the temperature set point on the appliance regulator.
• Make sure the "Overdrive (2h)" function has not been activated accidentally.
• If it continues to heat, contact your local dealer or a qualified professional.
• Make sure the power of the appliance is adequate for the room to be heated.
• If the appliance is being used for the first time, the room takes at least a couple of hours
to heat to the required temperature (setting the radiator to maximum does not raise the
temperature more quickly).
• The heating element requires a few dozen minutes to cool down. Wait the necessary
time.
• Disconnect the appliance from the mains power supply (switch off the mains switch by
moving it in the "O" position). Make sure the connection is correct (Fig.8) and the control
unit is functioning correctly.
• Contact a qualified professional.
• It may be necessary to wait a few minutes before the function starts operating.
• The difference between the outside and inside temperature may not be sufficient to acti-
vate the function.
• Check that the positioning of the appliance comply with the requirements referred to in
ch. 4.3.1 of this booklet.
• Check that the space around the control box of the radiator is free from obstacles.
• If the problem persists, contact your dealer or qualified personnel.
• It may be necessary to wait a few minutes before before the sensor detects the window
closing.
• Check that the space around the control box of the radiator is free from obstacles.
• Deactivate and activate the function again.
• Should the response time of the function be too long, you can at any time stop the radia-
tor manually.
• If the problem persists, contact your dealer or qualified personnel.
• The temperature sensor is malfunctioning. Turn off the appliance and contact your dealer.
