The KVM switch provides the firmware upgrade for the following functions:
USB Host: Update for USB host chip on KVM switch. The firmware filename
•
for USB Host is MCD_USB_HOST_xxx.usb.
•
OSD: Update for on-screen-display functions. The firmware filename for
OSD is MCD_OSD_xxx.osd.
To update the firmware:
1. Disconnect all the KVM cable between KVM and computer.
2. Disconnect all the keyboard and mouse plugged on KVM.
3. Disconnect the cable between KVM and monitor.
4. Apply AC power cord to the KVM.
5. Execute the firmware update utility "Prog.EXE".
