Freeze Damage Prevention

When the ambient temperature is likely to drop to 0 C or lower, take measures to prevent freezing.
Attention!
• When the ambient temperature is likely to drop to 0 C or lower, do not use the energy saver feature.
(May damage the product.)
• Warm the bathroom or take measures against freezing so that the ambient temperature does not drop below 0 C.
• Before starting work, set "AUTO FLUSH" (only when "FLUSH" button is located on the top side of the remote control)
(Page 38) and "Auto open/close" (Page 40) to "OFF".
Close the shutoff valve.

• The water supply stops.
CAUTION
Do not remove the water fi lter
drain valve while the shutoff
valve is open.
(Otherwise, water may leak out.)
Drain the water from the toilet

tank.
• Manipulate the lever/button/etc. until the
water stops.

Press
"Wand CLEAN" button.
• Open the wand cover.
(Release the pressure from the water
supply pipe.)
Switch the breaker on the

distribution board to OFF.
Drain the pipe.

① Remove the cover and water fi lter drain
valve.
• Loosen the water fi lter drain valve with
a fl at-head screwdriver and then pull it.

② Drain the water from the water supply hose.

③ After draining the water, install the water
fi lter drain valve and cover.
• Insert the water fi lter drain valve and
use a fl at-head screwdriver to tighten it
securely.

Switch the breaker on the
distribution board to ON.
• The "Power" LED lights up.
Set the toilet seat temperature

to "High".

• To maintain the temperature, close the
toilet seat and toilet lid after fi nishing work.
■ To use the product again
• The water needs to be resupplied. (Page 58)
