FLAME DETECTOR ADJUSTMENT,

The flame detector comes with a factory setting of 4.
It comprises:
- Potentiometer (3) for adjusting sensitivity.
- Led (1) indicating sensitivity.
- Led (2) indicating operation.
ATTENTION
During pre-purging, the led (1 and 2) are unlit.
Stable operation is reported by both Leds lighting.
To adjust, proceed as follows:
Using the potentiometer (3), turn the indicator anticlockwise
until led (1) lights, thus determining the minimum setpoint
value.
Using the potentiometer (3), turn the indicator clockwise until
led (1) is steadily lit. Consider the final setting as the minimum
value determined, increasing by 1 or 2 notches.
Check after at least a 5-minute stop that the resulting adjust-
ment produces a correct burner start-up programme.

FUEL HEATING

In order to assure regular ignition and operation even at low temperatures, the burner has an oil heater fitted in
the combustion head. The heater starts when the thermostats close.
When the required temperature for ignition is reached, a thermostat fitted on the nozzle holder enables burner
start-up.
Heating stays on during operation and switches off when the burner shuts down.
