Status indicators
The status indicators provide information about
the status of the power supply, the drives
and the keyboard functions. Three indicators
are visible when the device is closed: Power
indicator, battery indicator, wireless LAN/
bluetooth indicator (device dependent).
Depending on the model, the status
indicators on your device may be in a
different order to that shown below.
Power-on indicator / Standby
•
Indicator is illuminated: The notebook
is switched on.
•
Indicator flashes: The notebook is in
standby mode.
•
Indicator is off: The notebook is
switched off.

Getting To Know Your Notebook
Battery indicator
The state of change of the battery
is shown by the battery indicator.
•
The indicator lights up blue: The
battery is fully charged, the mains
adapter is connected.
•
Indicator flashes blue: The battery
is charging.
•
Indicator flashes red: The battery is
nearly discharged.
•
Indicator is off: The battery is fully
discharged (notebook switched off)
or the notebook is being operated
without mains adapter and the
battery is not fully charged.
Wireless LAN/bluetooth indicator
(device dependent)
•
The indicator lights up blue: The
module is switched on.
•
Indicator is off: The module is
switched off.
