FOLDOUT RAMP OPERATION

Foldout Ramp Terminology

The term deploy (unfold)
indicates the lowering motion
of the ramp to the deployed
position. Stow (fold) is the
raising motion of the ramp to
the vertical (stowed) position.

The foldout ramp and vehicle
tailgate operate together. The
ramp and tailgate assembly are
manually deployed and stowed
by an attendant.
Push the stow latch release
handle to the right (1), and
carefully deploy and stow the
spring-assisted ramp using the
side mounted ramp handle (2).
