    About this manual In this manual, you learn a lot about the design of the ibaPADU-S-IT-2x16 device and how to use and operate it. You can find a general description of the iba-modular system and further information about the design of the modules and how to use and operate them in separate manuals.

    CPU, but also up to 4 input/output modules. The ibaPADU-S-IT- 2x16 CPU offers 8 digital inputs. ibaPADU-S-IT-2x16 is a fast CPU for fast applications in the fields of measurement tech- nology, signal processing and controls. When equipped with the right input/output mod- ules and combined with the ibaPDA or ibaLogic-V5 software products, ibaPADU-S-IT- 2x16 can be used for several applications.

    You can make the time settings only on the website. Important note ibaPADU-S-IT-2x16 cannot store the time without external buffer voltage, if no supply voltage is connected to X14. If the time should be buffered, refer to chapter 7.6.2 “Buffer voltage X30”.

    Now the update is completed and the device is restarted automatically. When installing a firmware update, the entire iba modular system is updated, i.e. the CPU and the I/O modules attached to the system.

    After having mounted the modules and applied the voltage to the central unit, ibaPADU- S-IT-2x16 detects the modules and checks the firmware version. ibaPADU-S-IT-2x16 has a so called “overall release version“, i.e. the firmware version of the entire system. This version contains the current firmware version of the central unit as well as the firmware versions of the modules.

    11.1 ibaLogic-V5 You can use ibaPADU-S-IT-2x16 – in cooperation with ibaLogic-V5 – for the following applications: individual signal processing, control applications or stand-alone applica- tions. ibaLogic-V5 programs can be loaded in the device as runtime versions and run there autonomously.

If not, you are asked automatically to update the ibaPADU-S-IT-2x16.
