Step
Set the power supply voltage at 15 to 16 V
9.1.5
Set the current limit on the power supply to 3.5 ± 0.1 A.
9.1.6
Set the timer relay to apply power for 1.40 ± 0.05 s.
9.1.7
If using the recommended Timer set it to 'D: One shot'.
Adjust Oscilloscope to properly capture all channels. Verify
9.1.8
1. Voltage scale (V/div) on Ch. 1 & 3
2. Current scale (A/div) on Ch. 2 & 4
3. Current probe scale matches oscilloscope (V/A) on Ch. 2 & 4
4. Current probes are zeroed
5. Vertical trigger level and channel (Ch. 1 recommended)
6. Horizontal trigger position
7. Horizontal time scale (s/div) will capture entire duration
Turn on the power supply output. Then activate the timer relay. Verify the
9.1.9
following:
1. Voltage and current were recorded per step 9.1.1
2. Measured voltage meets requirements in step 9.1.5
3. Measured current value is approximately 1/10
4. Timer relay applies power per step 9.1.7
5. Data saves and is readable on a computer
If any parameters are not met, make the required changes and re-run the test
circuit. Upon completion of this step, the 'Power and Measurement Circuit'
shall not be changed.
Remove the 'Test Circuit' and connect the Lightband to the 'Power and
