2 - Dispositions préliminaires
Avant d'entreprendre l'installation, il est indispensable de
vérifier les points essentiels suivants :
- Les dégagements prévus pour les appareils sont ils suf-
fisants ?
- Les ouvertures de reprise et soufflage dans la terrasse
n'affaiblissent-elles pas anormalement la structure ?
- N'y a-t-il pas d'obstacles quelconques risquant de gêner
le bon fonctionnement de l'appareil ?
- La nature du courant électrique disponible correspond-
elle aux caractéristiques électriques de l'appareil ?
- L'emplacement des appareils est-il suffisamment éloigné
des locaux habités ?
- L'écoulement des eaux de condensats est-il prévu ?
- L'accès aux appareils est-il aisé pour la maintenance ?
- La pose des appareils va entraîner des moyens de le-
vage importants et différents suivant les cas (hélicop-
tère ou grue). Sont-ils définis ?
3 - Transport et mise en place
Lors de la réception, vérifier l'état de l'appareil et en cas de
détérioration, adresser immédiatement une réclamation au
transporteur.
L'appareil doit être manipulé avec précautions. Des anneaux
de levage permettent sont déplacement de façon aisée. Il
est nécessaire de prévoir des entretoises entre les élingues
en partie supérieure pour éviter de comprimer la tôlerie et
provoquer des détériorations.
Mettre l'appareil en place, le fixer solidement sans oublier
d'intercaler un joint d'étanchéité.
Les principes de montage de toiture sont variables, ils né-
cessitent une attention toute particulière en ce qui concerne
l'étanchéité entre l'appareil et la terrasse ainsi que pour la
résistance de la structure.
Un principe de montage est indiqué ci-après.

2 - Preliminary dispositions
Before starting the installation, it is absolutely necessary to
check the following essential points :
- Are the cleaning spaces for the devices large enough ?
- Do the retake and blowing openings in the roof abnormally
weaken the structure ?
- Are there any obstacles that might trouble the good
working of the device ?
- Does the type of electric voltage available correspond
with the electrical characteristics of the device ?
- Is the location of the devices distant enough from the
lived-in premises ?
- Is the flowing-off of condensate water provided for ?
- Is access to the machine for maintenance easy ?
- The placing of the devices will imply important means of
handling that will vary with the circumstances (helicopter
or crane). Has this been decided ?
3 - Transport and setting
On reception, check the state of the device and if it has
been damaged, immediately make a complaint to the car-
rier.
The device must be handled with care. Lifting rings make its
removal easy. It is necessary to provide crosspieces between
the slings in the upper part, to avoid compressing the sheet
iron and causing damage.
Put the device into place and fix it firmly not forgetting to
insert a gesket.
Roof mounting processes vary and special attention must
be paid to the tightness between the device and the flat
roof, as well as to the resistant of the structure.
