RIDING YOUR TVS JUPITER

PRE RIDE INSPECTION
Check the following items before riding

Fuel
Tyres
Battery
Lighting
Steering
Throttle
Brakes
Wheels
Malfunction indicator
ISG malfunction indicator
Caution
Do not switch 'ON' the ignition without minimum level fuel in tank. It will cause damage to the fuel pump.
WHAT TO CHECK FOR
Availability of oil upto the level (page No. 44)
Availability of oil upto the level (page No. 45)
Enough fuel for the planned distance of running
Correct pressure (page No. 52)
Adequate tread depth / No cracks or cuts.
Proper working of electric starter, horn, fuel gauge, pass-by, brake lamp, tail lamp,
speedoback illumination, license plate lamp and turn signal lamps.
Proper working of head lamp high / low beam and high beam indicator
Smooth movement / No play or looseness
Correct free play of cable / Smooth operation
Correct front and rear brake lever play (page No. 46 & 49)
Availability of brake fluid upto the level (only in Disc Brake version) (page No. 48)
Free rotation
Turned OFF after the engine is started (page No. 13)
Turned OFF after the Ignition 'ON' and engine is s (page No. 13)
