6.3 Parameterizing the device
"Password protection" parameter
Write access is only possible if password information is used.
The password is only required when the "Password Protection" parameter is activated. As
soon as the password has been entered once for the device, it is not requested again. The
set password can be deleted from the memory in menu item "Password management".

Activation or deactivation of the password protection must be confirmed on the device.
The Power LED on the device flashes for 15 minutes. By pressing the SW button on the
device during this flashing period, the protection function is activated or deactivated.
If the password protection is entered incorrectly, this action can only be repeated after a
short delay. Every repeated incorrect password entry results in an extension of the delay
period between entry possibilities.

If you have forgotten the password, please contact Technical Assistance. You will receive a
new password from them.
