Activating the lock feature
 Press and hold the [
key.
According to the setting
of the lockout configu-
ration, either of "KEY
LOCK", "DIAL LOCK",
or "ALL LOCK" will ap-
pear on the screen for
2 seconds and then the
display will return to the
previous screen.

 While the FTA-750L/FTA-550/FTA-450L are
locked, the controls with the DIAL selector knob
and/or the keys except the PTT switch, the POWER
switch, and the [ 121.5 ] key are disabled.
If the DIAL selector knob is rotated or any of the
keys is pressed, either of "DIAL LOCK", "KEY LOCK",
or "ALL LOCK" will appear on the screen for 2 sec-
onds and then the display will return to the previous
screen.
 To turn the lock feature
off, press and hold the
[ ] key again.
