6 Communication between SIPIX SD series and field devices
14. Click the "Check HART Device 0" button to check the connection to the field
device. In the field "HART devices" the field device connected to the BT HART
modem appears.
15. Click on the "Read Primary Variable" button to check the transmission of
values.
16. Close the "ViatorCheckBT" software on the SIPIX SD.
Note
If the selected hardware switch-off voltage of the BT HART modem falls below
2.8 V, the device switches off automatically.
In this case, replace the batteries of the BT HART modem before you turn it on
again.
