Windows 10 IoT Enterprise (LTSB)
For the industrial area Windows 10 IoT Enterprise (LTSB, Long Term Servicing
Branch) is available with the following features :
• License activation is not necessary.
• Updates and patches are not installed automatically.
• The time when updates and patches are installed can be controlled.
The LTSB version has no access to the Microsoft Store and the assistant
"Cortana" is also not available.

2.1.2 Codesys

CODESYS provides an IDE (integrated development
environment) for Windows. Using the CODESYS IDE,
control applications can be developed, tested, and
compiled for the CODESYS Windows/Linux runtime. A
typical IDE project environment is presented in the image
below.
