5.3 Cleaning the Tubing
The air tubing should be checked and cleaned daily (or after every time use) to prevent the growth
of germs that might affect the user's health (please also refer to the air tubing instruction manual).
1. Disconnect the air tubing from the air outlet of the device (Please refer to 3.2.3 Disconnecting
accessories – Humidifier and Light grey tubing).
2. Soak and shake vigorously in a tub or sink filled with warm water (approximately 86°F/30°C) and
mild liquid detergent (e.g. Prolystica® 2X Neutral Detergent 4 mL per L) for up to 10 minutes.
3. Rinse and shake vigorously in a tub or sink of clean water for Iminute.
4. Repeat inse process for one more minute using fresh water in a tub or sink.
5. Inspect to ensure the tubing is clean and detergent free. Wash and rinse again, if necessary.
6. Hang the tubing, with both ends pointing to the floor.
7. Dry away from direct sunlight or heat.Replace the air tubing if they are damaged.
WARNING:
Do not use harsh soaps, detergents, solvents or alcohols to clean the tubing.
solutions may reduce the life of the product.
WARNING: Do not wash or dry the air tubing at a temperature above 70°C (158°F)
WARNING: Do not use any cleaner containing fragrance or conditioners as they will leave a
residue.
5.4 Air Filter
For an optimal operation of the device, the Ultra filter is disposable and should be replaced after 6
months of use or sooner if it appears dirty; however, depending on the air quality, the replacement
time may vary.
1. Open back cover and remove the dirty filter from the enclosure on the rear of the device.
2. Replace a new filter and close back cover.
