DESCRIPTION OF THE DEVICE :

Webbing retractable fall arrester 2m length
(See chart below with versions)
Protective housing in high impact nylon
25,4mmx1,52 mm PES Vectran webbing

Fall Indicator (fig.1) :
A fold sewn into the webbing lifeline above the snap hook serves as the impact indicator. A
warning flag is included and will be exposed should the lifeline be subjected to fall arresting forces
(equipment to remove from service).
Marking (fig2)-blaming :
(1) Block validated at up level for worker up to a 136kg user. For lateral movements, limitation to
30° with respect to vertical is not applicable to the Turbolite 2m webbing range.
(2) Use of the block at the down level is possible (below the back D ring and not lower than
foot level), except there is a risk of contact between webbing and an edge during the fall arrest
(100kg max).
Horizontal use is possible (fixed anchorage located above the level of the dorsal D-link): allow
a clearance of 4m beneath the feet of the user while making sure that there is no risk of falling
onto an edge.
(3) check the locking of the block before use
(4) attach the equipment to the back D ring of the harness (fall arrest point EN361)
Remove from service if fall indicator activated
Upside down use of the block possible (ref. recommended 1018015/1018013/1017900/1029
891/1029901/1029903)
Take care that the ScaffHook side of the block is not connected to the back D ring harness (*)
Adapt the fall clearance according the extra lanyard out of the unit and the work angle(general
manual user: « space clearance »)
Periodic examination :
For the annual inspection, this device doesn't need to be return to the manufacturer.
Remove the product from service if any failure is detected)
