• Remove all foreign objects from the equipment.
• Store the equipment indoors, in a dry place with good ventilation.
• Keep the equipment out of reach of children.
• Do not store corrosive products such as garden chemicals and street salt near the equipment.
• Always place the blade guard on the cutting unit before your transport or put the equipment
Away. The blade guard sits tightly, and you must be very careful when you insert it so as not to
cut yourself on the blades. Always use gloves.
• Always turn the equipment off and disconnect from the power before you transport it.
• Always fit the accompanying safety guard on the equipment, and lift it by the handles.
Place the equipment flat when transporting it.
• Protect the equipment from powerful impacts and vibrations which can occur during transporta-
Tion. Secure the equipment so it cannot slide or roll over.
The machine does not work: Check that the power cable is connected properly and check the mains
fuses. If the machine will not work in spite of the voltage supply being OK, please send it to the specified after-
sales service address.

The hedge trimmer and its accessories are made of an assortment of materials, e.g. metal and plastics.
Defective components must be disposed of as special waste. Do not throw in the household refuse bin!
