CHECKING BEFORE USE: The user shall ensure
that the mask is suitable for the intended application
before entering the contaminated area.
WEARING AND ADJUSTMENT: 1 – Open the respi-
rator by pushing slightly on both sides. 2 – Shape the
nose-bridge. 3/4 – P
with the chin-flap fully open. Holding the mask
against the face with one hand, place the lower
headband around the neck, below the ears and
the top headband around the crown of the head,
above the ears. Correctly position the mask by
moving it slowly towards the right and the left,
the top and the bottom until reaching an optimal
adjustment. 5 – Mould the nose area to the shape
of the face by pinching the nose-bridge from the
top to the bottom. Make sure that the chin-flap
is open and secured around the chin area. 6 –
CHECK FOR LEAK-TIGHTNESS AS FOLLOWS: •
place both hands over the mask and – exhale
sharply for a mask without exhalation valve –
inhale deeply for a mask with exhalation valve •
if you feel air leaks around the edges, re-adjust
the mask by tightening the nose-bridge and/or
increasing tension of the headbands (by tying
a knot) • repeat the procedure until satisfactory
face-fit has been achieved. N.B.: requirements for
leak-tightness are unlikely to be achieved if the
respirator is worn against a beard or facial stubble.
USING: Taking a new mask from its box. 1 – Check
the condition of the mask before use. 2 – Fit the
mask and check leak-tightness before entering
the contaminated area. 3 – Wear it for the whole
duration of exposure to contaminants. 4 – Discard
it and replace with a new one if: • it is removed

APLICACIONES: Semimascarillas filtrantes con
clasificación FFP1, FFP2 o FFP3 contra aerosols
sólidos y líquidos en concentraciones hasta del
Factor de protección x TLV (Límite de exposición
del lugar de trabajo): 4 x TLV: Clase FFP1 (baja
toxicidad), 12 [10 en UK, FIN, D, I, S] x TLV: Clase
FFP2 (toxicidad media), 50 [20 en FIN, S, UK y
30 D, I] x TLV: Clase FFP3 (alta toxicidad). «D»
marcado por pasar la prueba de colmatación
de dolomita. « NR » (uso en un solo turno) o «
R » (Reusable) marcada según la normatividad
enmendada EN149:2001+A1:2009.
LIMITACIONES: NO use estas mascarillas para
ingresar o permanecer en un área en donde:
• la concentración de oxígeno sea menor que
17% (atmósferas deficientes en oxígeno) • los
contaminantes y/o sus concentraciones sean
desconocidos o inmediatamente peligrosos para
la vida o la salud • la concentración del aerosol
excede los niveles fijados por las reglamentacio-
nes aplicables de salud y seguridad o el Factor
de protección x TLV • estén presentes gases y/o
vapores. NO use esta máscara en atmósferas
explosivas, salvo en caso de referencias provistas
con una Declaración de Conformidad. No la
emplee antes de recibir capacitación
COMPROBACIÓN ANTES DEL EMPLEO: El
usuario deberá asegurarse que la mascarilla es

USO Y AJUSTE: 1 – Abra el respirador empujando
ligeramente en ambos lados. 2 – Dé forma al
puente de la nariz. 3/4 - Coloque la mascarilla

tamente abierta. Sosteniendo la mascarilla contra
la cara con una mano, coloque la cinta para la
cabeza inferior alrededor del cuello, bajo las orejas

CLEANING: Applicable only on the re-useable
masks (« R »). If the mask is to be used for more
than one shift, the face seal must be cleaned
with a wipe impregnated with a cleaning
and disinfecting solution, without alcohol.

inhale profundamente para una mascarilla con
válvula de exhalación • si usted siente fugas de
aire alrededor de los bordes, reajuste la mascarilla
apretando el puente de la nariz y/o aumentando
la tensión de las cintas para la cabeza (atando
un nudo) • repita el procedimiento hasta que se
haya logrado un ajuste satisfactorio en la cara.
N.B.: Es poco probable que los requerimientos
para la hermeticidad contrafugas se logren si el
respirador se utiliza utiliza con barba o una barba
incipiente.
EMPLEO: Tome una mascarilla nueva de
su caja. 1 – Compruebe la condición de la
mascarilla antes de su empleo. 2 – Ajuste la
mascarilla y compruebe la hermeticidad a fugas
antes de ingresar al área contaminada. 3 – Úsela
durante toda la duración de la exposición a los
contaminantes. 4 – Deséchela y reemplácela
con una nueva si: • se retira al estar en un área
contaminada • la obstrucción excesiva causa
dificultad o incomodidad al respirar • se daña •
para mascarillas que ofrecen ayuda contra olores
molestos, el olor se vuelve detectable. No altere la
mascarilla. Salga del área contaminada si ocurre
mareo, irritación u otras molestias.
ADVERTENCIA: La mascarilla no se deberá
utilizer durante más de un turno si es para uso en
un solo turno (« NR »). Conserve las mascarillas
