4.4 FLUSHING DEBRIS

Debris in the water may get caught inside the nozzle. This trapped material will cause poor stream quality, shortened reach and
reduced fl ow. The Masterstream 1250 with Flush Nozzle series is equipped with a fl ush setting on the selector ring that allows the
user to fl ush the nozzle while fl owing. Turning the ring allows the baffl e to move forward past the normal fl ow position. The opening
created is larger than the passageways inside the nozzle, and debris will be allowed to pass through the nozzle. Especially large
debris may be trapped in the inlet of the nozzle. To remove large debris, remove nozzle from plumbing and remove debris.
Large amounts or pieces of debris may be unfl ushable and can reduce the fl ow of the nozzle
WARNING
resulting in an ineffective fl ow. In the event of a blockage, it may be necessary to retreat to a
safe area, uncouple the nozzle and remove debris.
