DC Voltage Measurement

Set the LT51 to DMM – AC/DC Voltage mode.
a)
b) Ensure that the Terminals are set to AB.
c) Connect a 50 V DC Source to the LT51 RTXa-b terminals.
Check that the LT51 displays the DC voltage as 50.0  0.5 V.
d)
e) Select the a-g and b-g terminals and ensure that the LT51 displays the DC
voltage as 0 V.

AC Voltage Measurement

Set the LT51 to DMM – AC/DC Voltage mode.
a)
b) Ensure that the Terminals are set to AB.
c) Connect a 30 V / 50 Hz AC Source to the LT51 RTXa-b terminals.
Check that the LT51 displays the AC voltage as 30.0  0.8 V.
d)
e) Ensure that the Ringing tone is present during the application of the AC
voltage.
f) Select the a-g and b-g terminals and ensure that the LT51 displays the AC
voltage as 0V.

AC Impedance Measurement

Set the LT51 to DMM – AC Impedance "Mag (Z)" mode (75  ref).
a)
Connect the 600  impedance to the RTXa-b terminals.
b)
Check that the LT51 measures 600  60 .
