Description
512 GB solid-state drive
256 GB solid-state drive
The M.2 solid-state drive is secured with one slotted Torx screw. It is located under the heat sink and fan.
Before removing the solid-state drive, follow these steps:
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly
2.
Remove the access panel
Remove the solid-state drive:
1.
Remove the Phillips screw (1) that secures the solid-state drive to the slot.
2.
Lift the solid-state drive to a 45-degree angle, and then pull the solid-state drive (2) away from the slot.
To install the M.2 solid-state drive, reverse the removal procedures.
NOTE:
M.2 solid-state drives are designed with a notch to prevent incorrect insertion.
