Hard drive

Before removing the hard drive, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly
2. Remove the access panel
3. Remove the optical drive
4. Remove the drive cage
Remove the hard drive:
1. Disconnect the hard drive power cable (1) from the hard drive.
2. Disconnect the hard drive data cable (2) from the hard drive.
3. Remove the four Torx screws (3) that secure the hard drive to the drive cage.
4. Remove the hard drive (4).
To install the hard drive, reverse the removal procedures.
