3. Product description
3.1 Intended use
The Bosch Emissions Analyzer, hereafter referred to
as BEA, is used to perform user-friendly emissions
test on vehicles. The range of components includes
the entire spectrum of gasoline and diesel road
vehicles on which emission measurements have to
be performed during workshop inspections, both to
comply with legal requirements and for the purposes
of localizing and rectifying faults.

For applications demanding mandatory calibration,
regular calibration is essential. (depending on the
regulations of the respective country).

If the BEA 950 and the scope of delivery are
operated contrary to the way specified by the
manufacturer in the operating instructions, the
protection provided by the BEA 950 and the
supplied accessories may be compromised.
3.2 Scope of delivery

variant ordered as well as the optional accessories

Information on optional accessories, such as vehicle-
specific connection cables, extra measurement cables
and connection cables can be obtained from your
Bosch authorized dealer.

Operate the BEA 950 only in enclosed workshop
areas. Protect the BEA 950 against moisture.
Depending on the product variant ordered, the
BEA 950 may, for example, consist of a trolley (2
different versions) with computer, printer, keyboard,
mouse, measuring unit, KTS module and remote
control. The trolley also provides additional space for
the engine speed module BEA 030 as well as for the
exhaust components BEA 055 (gasoline vehicle) and
BEA 070 (diesel vehicle).
