Step 19: Once the insert is in place, attach 2 L – mounting brackets [Va] with 2 short
screws [Vb] onto base panel [H] (1 screw for each bracket). Attach 3 short
screws [Vb] to the top side of the insert. See Fig. S.
Step 20: Tighten all screws.
Step 21: Carefully move the assembled unit to the desired location. The fireplace mantel
should not be positioned in area exposed to direct sunlight.
INSTALLATION OF FOAM TAPE ON YOUR FIREPLACE INSERT
Step 22: Foam tape (Z1) has been provided to protect your fireplace mantel. Remove the
backing paper from the foam tape.
Step 23: Attached the foam tape to the left and right side flanges of the insert, as shown
in Fig. O. The foam tape shall be spaced about 10 – 15 mm (0.4 – 0.6 in) from the
front edge of the insert.

Step 24: Make sure that the foam tape is completely covering both, the side flanges,
as shown in Fig. U.
OPERATION
After reading complete instructions, confirm all controls on fireplace are in the OFF
position. Plug the fireplace into a 15 AMP/120 Volt outlet. If the cord does not reach, you
may use an extension cord rated for a minimum of 14AWG, 1875 WATTS. Once the fireplace
insert has been properly connected to a grounded electrical outlet, it is ready to operate.
OPERATION BY THE CONTROL PANEL
The controls are located behind the grill below the front glass and can be accessed by
pulling the grill from the top, forward and down.

0/i:
Press this button for main power and flame effect. The indicator light will be on.
1250w: For heat function - press this switch while the 0/I switch is in the ON position.
The indicator light will be ON.

To adjust the temperature to your individual requirements, turn the temperature
control dial to the right (clockwise) to increase the desired temperature and to
the left for lower temperature. This temperature control dial can only be used
while the 0/I switch and 1250W switches are in the ON position.
Note: When the O/I switch is turned off, all other heater functions will stop even though
the switches may be in the on position.
