1 Quadro Board Configuration

The user has to manually attach the extension to the SIP line and enter the SIP user name of the phone
and the password.

2 SIP Phone Configuration.

As it is not desirable to provide distributors/users with 2 separate dial-plans (for standard
mode and for routing mode), we will restrict IP lines to routing mode only.
Epygi or the other company (wholesaler, retailer) has to set up the configuration place and enter the
default values into the phone. The Polycom SoundPoint IP300 phone can be configured completely
manually or in an automated way (over FTP).
First the automated configuration for distributors and then complete manual way of configuration will be
described. Note here that we will provide the easiest way - from the user's perspective - of configuring
the phone.

  • Page 1 IP lines to routing mode only. Epygi or the other company (wholesaler, retailer) has to set up the configuration place and enter the default values into the phone. The Polycom SoundPoint IP300 phone can be configured completely manually or in an automated way (over FTP).
  • Page 2 “Menu”, then select “System Status”, press “Select”, “General” “Select” and the current IP address of the phone will be displayed. Use a HTTP web browser, connect to the “Polycom” IP address (Note here that a HTTP server boots slowly, so it is necessary to wait about 1 minute).
  • Page 3 2.3 Configuration by the End User The next step for the end user is to configure the SIP registration settings. That can be done by: Go to the Polycom IP phone embedded web server and select the “Registration” link and then the “Registration 1” page.
