Power Supply Unit Status
Indicators
The power supply unit status indicators show the status of
the power supply unit during operation and when the unit
is powered on. Whenever a power error is detected, it is
reflected immediately by the indicator.
Meaning of status indicator displays

Green Lit Operating normally
Red LIt Power supply unit fan
fault

Not lit Power supply unit

Notes
• When the unit is powered on, the status indicators may
light momentarily in red and a whining sound may be
heard. This is not a malfunction.
• Power all of the installed power supply units on. When
some of the power supply units are off and some are on,
the status indicators of the units which are off may light
in red. This is not a malfunction.
