Step 3 Install Math Coprocessor,
Test for Math Coprocessor
The AMIBIOS System Configuration screen shown at boot up
indicates if a math coprocessor is configured. If the coprocessor is
shown as Absent, reinstall the coprocessor, as follows .
Step
1 Turn the power off.
2 Check the coprocessor orientation.
3 Press the chip firmly to make sure that it is properly
inserted.
4 Visually inspect the coprocessor to make certain that all
pins are connected.
5 Power the system up again.
Call American Megatrends Technical Support at 404-246-
8600 if still not configured.

Upgradeable Processor

U54 can also be used to install a 169-pin Intel upgradeable
processor, such as an Intel P23T. The installation process is the
same as installing an Intel 80487SX.
