Electrical connection

WARNING: Risk of fatal electric shock
During operation, certain parts of the Smart Camera Box may contain hazardous voltag-
es.
Provide a switch or circuit breaker close to the Smart Camera Box that is marked as
the disconnecting device for this device.
Provide overcurrent protection (I = 6 ... 16 A) within the installation.
Only use cables that satisfy the prescribed installation regulations that apply for volt-
age, current, insulation material, load-carrying capacity, etc.
Before performing any maintenance work, disconnect the Smart Camera Box from all
power sources. The switch in the Smart Camera Box does not de-energize it.
Never connect or disconnect the connecting cables under load.
During commissioning and maintenance work, proceed in accordance with the five safety
rules of EN 50110-1:
1.
Disconnect safely
2.
Make sure that the power cannot be switched back on
3.
Verify safe isolation from the supply
4.
Ground and short circuit
5.
Cover or safeguard adjacent live parts
Once the work is complete, perform the above steps again in reverse order.
