Check all components, cables, terminal points, conductor connections, and markings
regularly.
Check the strain relief of the cables.
Check that all cable glands and connectors are fixed securely and sealed tight.
Check the cable routing and bending radii. To prevent damage to the cables, avoid
excessive bending radii.
Check the cables, cable connections, and components for signs of overheating, e.g.,
discoloration or deformation. If you notice any problems, please contact your subsidiary
to agree on further action. You will find the address at phoenixcontact.com. The source
of overheating must be identified and the device returned to a safe state before it can
be operated again.
Check the torque of all connections (see section 8.2). Tighten any loose connections,
observing the correct torque.
Check that all connectors are seated securely and functioning correctly.
Check all connections of the protective conductor system, such as conductors, ground-
ing screws, grounding bolts, and grounding busbars.
Make sure that all connections are still reliably connected.
Unplug all plugs and surge protection modules before beginning the insulation mea-
surement to obtain a correct measuring result. Reinsert the plugs once the insulation
measurement has been completed.
