Behavior during restart and in the event of an error

External influences, such as significant surge voltage events can interfere with the se-
quences of the internal processors in the Smart Camera Box. The internal monitoring pro-
cess detects such interferences and, where necessary, triggers a restart. A similar behavior
may occur if a restart is necessary due to changes in the device configuration.
The following describes the behavior when a restart which was brought about via the web-
based management is necessary.
Output behavior of the ports
PoE ports: PoE supply voltage, data connection
Configuration port: data connection
Uplink ports: data connection
Switching output (+/- AUX): supply voltage
All ports are disabled during the restart.
The ports are enabled or disabled following the restart, depending on the saved configura-
tion. Disabled ports remain disabled.
