6. Troubleshooting

Problem
I cannot switch on the Roger
NeckLoop.
I cannot hear sound from the
Roger microphone.
A crossed out 'Connect' icon
is visible in the display.

Causes
The battery is empty.
One or all devices are switched off.
The T-coil in the hearing instrument
is not activated.
Roger NeckLoop is not connected to
your Roger microphone.
The volume is too low.
The Roger microphone is muted.
One or all Roger microphones are
switched off.
Roger NeckLoop is out of range of
the Roger microphone.
Solutions
Charge your Roger receiver for at least four hours.
Make sure all devices (Roger NeckLoop, Roger microphone, hearing
aids) are turned on and fully operational.
Switch your hearing aids to the T-coil program.
Connect Roger NeckLoop with your Roger microphone by pressing
'Connect' on your microphone. Note that Roger NeckLoop needs to be
within 10 cm/4 inches of your Roger microphone.
Press the '+' button on Roger NeckLoop to increase the volume.
Unmute the Roger microphone (refer to its User Guide).
Make sure all Roger microphones are turned on and fully operational.
Move closer to the Roger microphone to be within its operating range.
