    Installation Installation Before using the appliance into operation for the first time, read the information and tips below: Ventilating the appliance To increase the efficiency of the cooling system and save energy, it is necessary to maintain good ventilation that will dissipate the heat around the appliance. For this reason, there should be enough clearance around the appliance.
  • Page 9 Installation  Observe the climate class for the appliance (see identification plate).  Place the appliance in a dry location and avoid high levels of humidity in the room.  Keep the appliance away from direct sunlight, rain, frost and heat sources such as ovens, fires or heating elements.
  • Page 10 Installation Installing the water lines and water filter  We recommend having the appliance installed by an appropriately qualified person.  The water lines must be fully inserted in the filter to prevent any water from escaping.  The line length should be less than 5 m. If the line is too long (> 5 m), this will result in insufficient water pressure that could affect the ice cubes and cold water content.

Do not allow heavy objects to push the water lines together, press on them or bend them. After turning on the water valve, make sure that there are no leaks at the connection points in the water lines.
