    The vacuum pump is built in accordance with the latest standards of technology and is delivered in a safe operat- ing condition. The Schmalz vacuum pump is intended to convey, evacuate and compress gases. Neutral gases in accordance with EN 983 are approved as evacuation media.     For safe installation, the following instructions must be observed: 1. Install the pump only using only the operating parameters and under the conditions described in the “Techni- cal Data” chapter. 2. Use only the connections, mounting holes and attachment materials that have been provided. 3.

    Excess pressures and their associated hazards can be avoided by using a bypass line with a pressure-limiting valve between the pressure and suction side of the pump. Additional information is available from the Schmalz specialist consultants (for their phone numbers, see the first page).

    9  Warranty IMPORTANT! A warranty claim can only be accepted by Schmalz if the pump has been installed and used in accordance with its corresponding operating instructions. In the case of inappropriate handling or use of force, any warranty and lia- bility claims shall be void.
